Rust LFG post generator
Most LFG posts get ignored because they do not answer the questions a group is actually asking. Fill these in and you get a post that does, ready to paste into Discord.
Or skip the post entirely. RustMatch matches you with players whose region, hours, server type and play style already line up with yours, so there is nothing to write and nobody to chase. Free to use.

A recruiter reading a channel is scanning for reasons to skip you, because there are forty other posts. "18 looking for group, add me" gives them nothing to decide on, so they move on. Every line this generator adds is one of the questions they would otherwise have to ask.
The bit everyone leaves out
When you actually play. Two players can match on hours, region and server type and still never be online together. Saying "weeknights after 7" filters out the people you would have wasted a week discovering you could not play with.
- Where should I post it?
- The Discord of a server you already play on beats a general LFG channel, because region, server type and wipe schedule are already agreed by everyone in it.
- Should I say how many hours I have if it is low?
- Yes. Hiding it wastes everybody's time, and plenty of groups take low-hour players who turn up and listen. Being vague reads worse than being new.
- How long before wipe should I post?
- Two or three days. Most groups are formed before wipe day, so posting on the day leaves you picking from whoever is left.
