This page explains how to delete your account for RustMatch, the teammate finder for Rust by Logan Murphy. It covers the iPhone app, the Android app and the website. You can delete your account without the app.
How to delete it
In the app
Open RustMatch, go to Settings, tap Delete account and confirm.
On the website
Log in at app.rustmatch.com, open Settings, scroll to Danger zone, tap Delete my account and confirm.
By email
Email hello@rustmatch.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will delete it and reply to confirm.
Cancel your subscription first
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it there, or the store will keep charging you.
iPhone: Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then RustMatch.
Android: Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then RustMatch.
Website: log in, open Settings, then Manage subscription.
What happens and when
Straight away: your profile is hidden. Nobody can see you in the deck, in likes, in matches or in clans.
Within 30 days: your account is permanently deleted.
Changed your mind? Log in before the 30 days are up and choose Keep my account.
What is deleted
your login (email and password);
your profile, bio and photos;
your swipes, likes, matches and messages;
your blocks, your clan and its likes;
your notification settings and push tokens;
your purchase record at RevenueCat, the service that checks app purchases.
What is kept
Reports filed by you or about you, with the usernames at the time, are kept to keep RustMatch safe.
Payment records are kept by Stripe, Apple or Google, as tax and accounting law requires. We cannot delete those for you.
