These terms govern your use of RustMatch (the "Service"), on the website and in the RustMatch apps for iPhone and Android. RustMatch is run by Logan Murphy from Scotland, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be 16 or over to use RustMatch. If you are under 16, you may not create an account or use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you are 16 or over and that the information you give, including your age group, is accurate.
To protect younger players, people aged 16 and 17 are never shown to people aged 30 and over, and the other way round. Once you set your age group it can only move up. Read more in our Child Safety Standards.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You may have only one account, and you must not impersonate anyone else.
RustMatch is for finding teammates for the game Rust. You agree not to:
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
RustMatch has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behaviour. This includes harassment, threats, hate, sexual content, scams, and anything that puts a child at risk.
You keep ownership of the content you post (your bio, photos, and messages). You grant us a licence to host and display that content as needed to run the Service. You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the right to share it.
RustMatch helps you find other players, but we do not verify users' identities and we do not guarantee any match, conversation, or outcome. You interact with other users at your own risk. Never share personal, financial, or contact information with people you do not trust, and report anyone who breaks these terms.
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms or if we need to for legal or safety reasons. A suspended account cannot send or read messages and is hidden from other players.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings in the app or on the website. Your profile is hidden straight away and permanently deleted within 30 days. See how to delete your account.
The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from your misuse of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
RustMatch is an independent, unofficial fan-made service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Facepunch Studios. Rust is a game by Facepunch Studios, and the name is used only to say which game RustMatch is for.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and disputes are subject to the courts of Scotland.
